Around the time of this article publication, the businesses at Cultivation Food Hall in Jackson were all women-owned, despite the restaurant industry being largely dominated by men. For the cover story of the March 2019 issue of BOOM Jackson, a sister publication of the Jackson Free Press, I decided to talk to these women and learn their stories. This article won a 2019 Diamond Journalism Award from Associated Press Arkansas.
